Mimetic gaming is not a new process what so ever. There have been plenty of games that used similar technology, which could be hooked directly to your television. Games such as Dance dance revolution, Virtual paintball, Virtual snowboarding and Virtual Boxing. All of these games had their own platform which came in the form of a paintball gun, boxing gloves, snowboard, etc. Although the graphics were not as good, these same sensory gaming platforms have been out for a while. If mimetic gaming is suppose to be the new fad it the gaming industry, what will stop it from falling off the market similar to early virtual games?
